Project Details
Commissioned to form the entrance to a walled garden at a large property in East Sussex.
This gate was hand forged from mild steel and has a patinated zinc finish.
Designed as an almost ‘frameless gate’, this piece blurs the lines between gate and sculpture.
Each rose was handmade and formed two separate plants. The main body of the Gate is filled with an ornamental rose while a climbing rose wraps around the top section blending in with the frame that in turn becomes another plant as it travels up and curves into an arch.
